What's Involved in a Rear Screen Replacement
Beyond removing and refitting the toughened glass, we carefully disconnect and reconnect the heating element wiring, any integrated aerial, and the rear wiper motor where fitted, then test each system works correctly before handing your car back.
Heated Rear Screens
Almost all modern rear windscreens include fine heating element lines to clear condensation and ice. These are baked into the glass itself, so a replacement screen must be sourced to the correct specification and the connections carefully soldered or clipped back into place.
Full System Test Before We Leave
Before completing the job, we test the heater element, wiper (if fitted), and any rear-mounted sensors to confirm everything works as it should — so you're not left discovering a fault days later.
